After dinner with me at the head of a long table of about forty people we went to sleep in bunk beds.
In the morning Daddy took some photos of the view

whilst I chatted to my new friends the pompiers

We started back down after breakfast

If you look closely you can see a man running up the path, there was a race taking part and they all looked rather pooped. Daddy said that the pompiers were staying at the refuge in case one of the runners had an accident, but I don't think they were going quick enough to injure themselves. We moved over to let them pass and wished them good luck as they sweated up the mountain.
It was much easier coming down than going up but we took our time so that we wouldn't slip or fall off the path

You can see that Daddy is carrying everything by now, even dou-dou. I carried my backpack all the way up without complaining but I didn't fancy carrying it all the way down too, some people forget that I'm only 4 years old!
